DESCRIPTION:The Junction are a power trio from the Padua area (Italy): Marc
 o Simioni (guitar\, vocals)\, Alessandro Maroso (bass\, backing vocals)\, 
 and Francesco Reffo (drums\, vocals). They play indie rock with a punk att
 itude\, noise-pop edges\, and a garage spirit. Their sound is deeply roote
 d in the 80s and 90s alternative and noise scenes (Sonic Youth\, Pixies\, 
 Pavement\, Brainiac\, Mission of Burma\, Built to Spill)\, with clear post
 -punk influences (Gang of Four\, The Fall\, Idles\, and beyond). On stage\
 , they channel the raw energy and vibrations of their instruments into int
 ense\, high-energy live performances. The band has released three LPs alon
 g with several singles and EPs\, and has toured extensively across Italy a
 nd Europe (France\, Germany\, the UK\, Switzerland\, Austria). New music h
 as been released steadily since June 2025\, leading up to their self-title
 d album THE JUNCTION\, out 20 March 2026.
